So actually you didn't know until the administration and most people by then too paisey to say no and move away and re-join Q.
The 4 Moderna centres were announced by media on 16 Mar.
Registration for 45-59 group started 24 Mar.

I guess middle-age educated people would know what they're booking for, unless they don't follow the news? πŸ˜„

It is the 7 new Moderna centres that MOH hasn't announced yet, as they are doing some dry runs at the cc, but I note that some volunteers have received their M shots. See ''Kebun Baru CC'' Facebook page for public photos posted by centre volunteers.

You can visit CCS' Facebook to see him inspecting the tables and chairs at Buona Vista.

Both are effective against UK and Brazil variants so far, unlike the ''traditional'' vaccines. Both have 94%-95% efficacy.

M is more expensive than P per dose. FYI, Pfizer is not the inventor, but just a pharma manufacturer/fill-finish/distributor. The patented recipe came from BioNTech (Germany).

If you forget which centres administer which vaccine, you can tell during the booking as you book both slots at the same time. 28 days = Moderna; 21 days = Pfizer-B. If you decide against that one, you can just go back and pick another centre.

Also I was surprised to hear my bro in law was only offered woodlands cc and no other vaccination centre options. He's in the 45-59 group. Just registered last few days.
It could be that at that point in time, that was the only one with slots available? Because when I booked mine, there was a long list - but waiting time for an available slot and travelling distance would vary. I live in the west, and when I scrolled way down the list, there were centres far into the east listed!

When doing the online booking you could already see the 2nd appointment dates. If you really didn't want that particular vaccine, just back out of the webpage and choose another center and date which has the vaccine you want.

Each venue only does one type of vaccine. So by the time you reach the venue for registration, you're committed unless you forgo your slot and cancel the appointment.

is it bearable , or do u intend to take a panadol ?
It wasn't too bad but I had lots of zoom meetings so took the panadol just so that I can concentrate better rather than have to deal with a nagging headache the whole day.

Slight discomfort at the injected area and need to slowly lift up my injected arm…

I take these as normal and expected.
I hope tmr I will be ok
