Anyone recall
for RGPS these past 2 years ( 2021 P1 students born in Y2014 and 2020 P1 students born in Y2013), per batch,
the school took in approximately, how many Parent Volunteer(s), under Phase 2B ?
less than 10, or
less than 20, per batch ?
Majority of these selected PVs, stay below 2 km
Or
All the selected PVs, stay less than 2 km ?
How many PVs got selected (if any), staying more than 2 km ?
Thanks -

PV selection for RGPS doesnt need to be distance based unless the school believes there is high risk of balloting during P2B P1 registration.
Thanks for the info. Is it true that distance is a criteria for PV selection for these elite schools. I live more than 2km away that's why I am asking. -
Hi, anyone who attended the RGPS PV interview received the schoolβs reply?
-
Hi i just got the reply this morning. So fortunate to be in. Phewβ¦

Congratulations, to CM8668
They interviewed how many parents that day, when you were awaiting for your turn outside the interview room ? -
The interview was done online. Only about 10 mins per interview and I did mine in 5 mins. π°So not sure how many PV altogether. There is an induction in May but going by past trends, I expect may be twentyish or so.

Thanks Phtthp for the wishes. Really overjoyed. The wait between interview and outcome was about 5 to 6 weeks.
-
I see
Because of covid-19, they conducted the PV interview online now, no more on-site physical premises anymore, reduced risk
You have done well , CM8668
Jolly good goody goody ! Give yourself a big, big clap
Thatβs great, wonderful ! <am clapping hands for you now
->
If RGPS have interviewed 20+ candidates, likely that they selected & take in below 20 PVs, and you are amongst them
Very happy for you
heehee
(worth the wait) -
Thanks again Phtthp. Really a relief. Was an agonising wait. Wish you a good weekend. Cheers.
