All along I thought that immunisation cert is the one in the health booklet...the one which has signature and stamp of the doctors who give the jab. Just asked hubby, he told me already photocopied that page.

      You are right.

The website is just another option for parents to retrieve the immunisation records of their children. Information within the website is exactly the same as what you find in the health book.

      So, either source will do.

        Good luck to you.
For your info on 13th August ,Friday should be the balloting date for phase C .Which means we have to wait another week for balloting after the results , I remembered that I waited for 1 wk too , don't know why have to wait for so long hoh? Counting the days was really torturing.

Phase 2C For a child who is ineligible for or unsuccessful

Announcement of result By Friday 13 August 2010[/quote]I am supposed to be in P2C and results of registration release only on 15 Aug, but will it be too late to withdraw and register with 2nd back up school of my choice if my first choice turn out unsucessful ? :?

once Phase 2C close for registration, you can no longer withdraw your registration. when that phase closed, then will balloting take place. you can only withdraw and apply under Phase 2C Supp IF you had already have a place under Phase 2C. if you did not have a place under Phase 2C, you just need to go direct to school of choice (with vacancies left) under Phase 2C Supp for registration.

maybe i shd just go ahead and register in P2C to wait for the results on 15 Aug with hb and mi standby at BPPS and Beacon (back up plan a) individually, should that be the way?? šŸ™

              My advice would be to

              1. check out what are your chances based on past year balloting. Then analyse the probability based on current year Phase 2C available slots. You should have a fair idea if you need to ballot.

              2. if you want, register at first choice of school on first day and keep monitoring.

              3. on the last day, if your chances are dimmed, pull out at the pm session (or whenever it closes) and then register at 2nd choice.

Entirely up to you to decide. Just remember that balloting doesn't mean no chance (unless you're me....kiam chye mia), you may just want to take that risk becos there must be successful applicants.

Or if you really hate balloting, and Beacon sure got space in 2C, then by all means go Beacon directly and drop the idea of BPPS. Just make sure you don't regret if it turns out no balloting required.

what is your distance to BPPS? if 1-2km, can forget it already. if not, can monitor and then call BPPS up on 3rd day of Phase 2C to ask about your chance of balloting.
for Beacon, it is also popular. do go and check out the balloting stats for the past few years.

your above understanding is wrong. you cannot withdraw and apply for beacon as back up under phase 2C if phase 2C's registration is closed.

If I'm not wrong, both BPPS and Beacon only ballot those who stay within 1km last year cos at this click itself oredy overwhelmed with intakes, not to mention vacancies left for those within 1-2km. Both are 'hot' schools in BP. :boogie:
