yes, go during odd hours help. Just now, I wasnt too glad with an old man following too close to me during the checking out. Next time if I encounter such a situation, I will sum up some courage to voice my concern
Finally did our weekly grocery. No long Q. It was a breeze with full trolley load. Saw the NTUC staff replenishing toilet paper rolls & fruits/veggies. We did buy more cheeses & butter for baking at home though. 😄 -
I feel so relieved on the HBL. Has been reading news over the weekend and feeling so stressful.

Now I’m just wondering whether we will go to CB or not. If we are, I hope we do it sooner rather than later. Just get it over and done with.

There’s not much difference between a full circuit breaker & the rules from Wed onwards, is there?

The shops and eateries may still be open, but if there’s only takeaway & only 2 by 2 customers max at a time, I don’t see how much more the virus can be curbed. The vulnerable will be staying at home anyway. -

No, not a lot of difference, but there is still some difference! During CB (as far as I remember, may not be exactly accurate), most shops had to close, only essential workers could go out to work, only 1 person could go out to buy food, and no visitors. So if the virus still spreads under the current measures, there is still more they can restrict!slmkhoo\" post_id=\"2024251\" time=\"1621209775\" user_id=\"28674:

there is not much difference between this Wed \" 2 by 2 rule imposed \" vs. CB lockdown
The change however will come once July Term 3 school 're-open after the June holiday break
and
all the kids go back to school regular Term time again, and the tuition classes become face to face again ! -

I would rather have a hard and fast time to curb the spread than now adding pain little by little.

S’times, I’ll brave myself to softly request elderly to comply for their own good. I’ll ask if they want to be ahead as maybe they’re just as anxious to get home. I feel sorry that elderlies need to go out during such critical period. I wish for their younger family members (if they hv) or neigbors can help them do groceries or mktg.

I was at a DBS Q the other day & an old lady Q behind me. She looked so frail & I caught the attention of the CISCO lady & they swiftly let her get in ahead of everyone. She mentioned she needed to draw money to buy lunch. Was wondering if she does this everyday? 😮 -

Was just commenting to hubby knowing the B1617 virus variant is highly contagious & instead of complying with authorities (& authority’s rep), they wld challenge these conscientious ambassadors. Not easy to be diplomatic & yet execute.

My daughter just received a notification that NTU convocation has been postponed. I was wondering if this would happen! I expect NUS will also do the same.
