Can anybody point me to how many 12-15 year olds were actually in the clinical trials in the US for the Pfizer vaccine? All I can find is 2,260. How many more have had the jab in the US and Canada?
2,260 is all I can find for the Pfizer vaccine trial for kids (~half of these subjects received the placebo). For whatever reason, the U.S. CDC page does not appear to include the same demographic data for the trial with kids (vs. the trial with adults).

The Moderna trial for kids had 3,325 subjects in 2:1 ratio.

The Janssen (J&J) trial for kids is ongoing. Not sure how many kids are in this trial.

I think the following page has some demographic data on the % of people that have taken 1 or 2 doses. If you get the U.S. census data you can make some estimate of the actual number of kids that have taken the vaccine.

Dilli dally first lor.. the feeling is may take but just need some time to think and read. For my case, dh says good to take it during sch hol then can stay home recuperate.

You can always wait till the year-end school holidays. The 6 weeks is long enough to recuperate from both jabs.

Let those who are O level, A level graduating batch take first and be the Guinea pigs if they wish.

2 Sec4 schoolmates took the covid jab 1st shot yesterday, said their arms ached.

On a separate note, the principal spoke live-online to my oldest kid's cohort, & later sent us a Parents Gateway update thanking parents for the cohort's high vaccination take up rate. As for the older one, the vice principal personally rang up us parents to offer support

My mum, who had had cancer treatments a few months back, told me she has decided not to take the vaccine (even though it has now been approved for her profile of patients). Her reason, already feeling so tired & weak daily, can’t imagine have to deal with the side effects even more tired, probably have to lie in bed like an invalid the whole 3 days

I think you have 14 days to book? Check the SMS. Mine said the booking link will expire after 14 days. After that, can register again & wait for SMS again. I literally dilly dallied till the 14th day & made a last-minute decision to book a next-morning appt since DH would be around to monitor my symptoms.

                Not sure about the kids.

Besides Singapore, HK and the UK have just authorised Pfizer for their 12-15 yr olds.

In addition to the US, the European Union, Canada, Japan, Qatar, UAE & Israel have already authorised it.

Israel, which earlier had some hesitancy over those few heart inflammation cases, will start jabbing their 12-15 yos next week.

This requires an IT audit team to investigate. There appears to be a breach or glitch at the online registration stage.

The Vaccine.gov.sg link must be re-configured to auto-tally one's NRIC ‘’T05xxxxxZ\" with one's DOB. There should be an error msg if they don't match.

This will prevent the boy from seeing that list of Moderna centres on his VC menu on the Next page.

The auditor's recommendations should also include:

                        1. The front desk admin, who calls on his queue number to interview him for his medical conditions, should eyeball his physical NRIC when she collects it for barcode-scanning. Lapse: Admin didn't notice what was showing on her laptop screen.

                        2. The nurse before jabbing should conduct one more oral verification of person's ID and age. By right, the nurse should have orally informed him, \"OK boy, I'm going to be injecting you with Pfizer now.\"

                        3. The recipient of the injection should check the chit which should indicate ''Brand, Batch No, Date of Vaccination''.

                        4. Kolam Ayer is one of those that offer Moderna. But a teenager, who's been encouraged by MOE to go without his parents, would not follow the news of which VCs are offering which brands.

Therefore, all Vaccination Centres should put up big signages clearly displaying the vaccine brand at a conspicuous spot, ideally near the entrance and front desk.
