If want to go China for overseas holiday ,

heard that they only admit foreigners visitors / tourists that are vaccinated with China jab.
        Is it true ?

That means they check what kind of jab you have taken?

For those who have taken Pfizer / Moderna jab, cannot go China for a holiday ?
        https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/china-travel-covid-19/index.html
Despite rumors that the country would only grant travel visas to people who had gotten the China-created Sinovac vaccine, the Chinese embassy in the United States confirmed on April 20 that travelers with confirmed history of vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines would also be eligible.

I believe the difference is on business visa for now: https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/health-environment/article/3138309/singaporeans-chinese-nationals-queue-sinovac-vaccine

\"As part of the discussion, officials from the Chinese embassy took questions on whether Singaporeans and Chinese nationals in the city state would enjoy “benefits” if they took the Sinovac jabs. Aaron Yang, vice-president of the association, said hundreds of people attended the virtual meeting. According to Yang, the embassy said there was no “special treatment” on quarantine length at this point, but added that it would be “very convenient” for foreigners who have taken the Sinovac vaccine when applying for a visa. He pointed to how Singaporeans would typically require an invitation from provincial authorities if they wanted to apply for a business visa to China. This process could be bypassed if they had received Chinese vaccines.\"

I have naturalised Singaporean acquaintances who recently went to China to visit relatives (just normal visits and not due to emergency/compassionate reasons). Now in quarantine. They could have taken the P/M jab but definitely not Sinovac. But this is for personal travel, which doesn't seemed to be limited at this point of time as long as one serve quarantine, but I am not 100% sure if they managed to get special permissions to travel.

If you look at the report from Shanghai department of health, there are still imported cases from foreigners, which means they're still allowed to enter. E.g. one case from a Canadian recently. Not sure if Canada administer Sinovac. http://wsjkw.sh.gov.cn/xwfb/20210619/bf6ba8ee765943c394741f5df357ad10.html

                  https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/spore-may-get-non-mrna-novavax-covid-19-vaccine-before-year-end

Novavax coming to Singapore. That’s fast.

It’s a protein-based vaccine, like those used for Hepatitis B vaccines, so it’s not a new technology.
For those who worry about long term side effects of mRNA vaccine, especially in developing children, or immediate side effects like stroke/heart attacks etc, can go for this. Trials in the US are promising, efficacy more than 90% and so far no adverse/severe side effects reported.

I do not want to get into a debate like whether mRNA vaccine is superior than Novavax or otherwise. I think having another alternative to choose from besides the current P or M or S would be good.

P, M or S, all likely to need boosters.
