Better to be more prepared..I got ready food at home, a hp at home and gave them extra money just in case.
I brought fwd my Moderna 2nd dose to a weekend when DH will be around. Anticipating that I will need to rest in bed whole weekend. Many of my age group female friends had wooziness and fever within hours after theirs. The immune memory T cells doing their job well.[/quote] -

Thx. I guess weekend will have longer Q at the vaccination center. DS is used to being home alone, no worries there. He’s very sweet, will pray for me before the jab & after that will let me rest, yet check on my well-being during meal times.

I still would opt out to send my only son for his jab though. Asking him to refrain from any physical activity is like asking a monkey not to jump around. -

They just put this up at all vaccine centers.
Do remind these kids not to chase after buses or mrt, late so be it. -

Poor boy, some people may be laughing at him for going out to exercise (weightlifting). MOH’s statement was less than sympathetic and placed over emphasis on the weightlifting exercise seemingly to suggest that the strenuous exercise was the cause of the cardiac arrest.
Our 14 members expert-committee only said “avoid strenuous activity after 2nd dose”. Only today suddenly revised their advice to “no exercise for one week after each dose”. Then likely no advice was given to all the teens on vaccination day that they should not exercise for one week after 1st dose! -
So if NS, will they get 1 week off after vaccination? DS got his vaccination a few months ago. No off day. I wonder whether going forward they will not do anything strenuous after the jab.

I noticed that many import cases were tested positive when they just arrived Singapore.
With the test taken within 48 hours before departure, why are there still so many such cases when they just arrived in Singapore? 🧐🧐 -

Incubation is usually 5 days or so. That's why they serve SHN on arrival.

Nothing much can be said cos vaccination is not mandatory and it’s a personal choice, just that I wonder if all the parents have been equally informed about the risks such as myocarditis (heart inflammation). In hindsight the vaccination effort for children seems so rushed, that’s why I would rather wait and see. Now the boy is like a guinea pig, his unfortunate case helps to establish the advisory of no strenuous exercise for a week after 1st dose.
It’s like a Russian Roulette, quite confirmed some young males out there will suffer from myocarditis after the Pfizer vaccination, just whose son will be the one.
Now question is, for those who already had their 1st dose, should they carry on with their 2nd dose? I would think yes, else it’s as good as not being vaccinated. And for those who are still sitting on the fence like me, can wait for a clearer picture before going for the mRNA vaccine or simply wait for Novavax.
