Hello everyone!


May I get some advise? The school I’m looking at falls under the same GRC as where I’m residing; Tanjong Pagar GRC. However the school falls under a different division from where I’m residing though we are grouped under the same GRC. So should I be calling up to be a volunteer at the division that the school is in or the division that I’m staying in? I’m quite confused. Hope to get some enlightenment! Thank you!!

Residence and school same GRC sufficient, nothing about division. You can volunteer any eligible RC/NC

The eligibility letter will be based on your residence GRC, so once your NRIC changes to Tampines GRC, you are good, don't need to change RC.

I had checked with my CM that if I changed my address, system will update my status to Associate Member. May I know it still qualified to apply 2B as an AM with new address? I asked CM same question but no replied yet.

Yea the new rule is schools within your residence GRC, so you can only apply in Holland-Bukit Timah

Then, our BTO in Tampines is ready for us to move in during my son primary one period.
As there is no ballot done in this phase…
Do we still have to fulfil the 30-month stay requirement?

What is the 30-month stay requirement about?
Answer:
A child who gains priority admission into a school through their distance category is required to reside at the address used for registration for at least 30 months from the commencement of the 2021 P1 Registration Exercise on 30 June 2021. If this condition is not met, MOE reserves the right to transfer the child to another school with vacancies, as the priority admission to the first school was based on the declared address used for registration.
