Thinking of going to the parks to get some sunlight.. either picnic or eat in the car. Are we allowed, or do we need to picnic in pairs?[/quote]
I am not sure about that too.
Last Sun, we saw many many helpers gathering in small groups of 4-5pax, seated at the empty big grass patch in Toa Payoh, having picnics!

There are so many interesting kimonos created for Olympics. They should have commercialised it. I don't mind buying one

Spending a very relaxing National Day at home. Watched the simplified ceremony with family on TV this morning & saw the 5 fighter jets flying in formation past our high-rise (twice!)

Was going thru Tingxie list with DS and realized the lyrics for 家 are in the P5 Chinese textbook. Didn’t pay much attention to them before (I only liked the melody), but now I see the lyrics are very poetic indeed. I see 3 different meanings of 家 implied: the physical dwelling, the family, and the home country.

Outside is very hot now. Today’s vaccination ctr is operating. Just accompanied my kids for their afternoon nap.
