No handphone, no bag.
Anyone know whether for C2 students tomorrow for prelim, can bring handphone and bag? My child cannot survive without handphone with her to school.
Only notes, writing materials, stationery. -
If so, how to bring the stuffs to school without a bag?

You need to leave your bag and handphone outside the waiting/holding room. Only stationery, notes and writing materials can be brought into the waiting/holding room.

Hi
Are there any recommendations for H2 Physics tuition? If so, which are the recommended teachers from the centre and rates, thank you. -
Hi HCI College Parents,
Out of curiousity, are the classes for the large combinations, like PCME and BCME - are they streamed? Or are they all "mixed ability", with every class having also a mix of JAE and IP students?
The Sec 4s had their College subject briefing a few days ago. -
Hi All,
Would like to check if Economics is a compulsory subject for Science stream students in HCI/HCJC? I checked their website and it looks that way… -

My kid not in JC yet but I don't think it is compulsory. While PCME (Physics-Chem-Math-Econ) or BCME (Bio-Chem-Math-Econ) will likely be two of the more common subject combos, you should be able to replace Econ with a ton of different options; History (EH), CLL (Chinese Language & Lit), CSC (China Studies in Chinese), etc.

See attached - the 4th subject can be lots of different choices (there is also one Math-Physics-Geo-CSC combo).
Others with kids in JC please feel free to correct.

Yes as long as you have a contrasting subject. Broadly, a science stream student needs at least a humanities subject (Econs considered as humanities) or an arts stream student needs at least a science subject (eg Maths).

how many JC1 classes are there in Hwa Chong, just for
2021 JC1 (PCME + BCME) subject combination, alone ?
Is it
6 PCME classes plus
another 3 BCME classes ?
Each class inside, around (30 to 35) JC1 students ? -

Based on the info posted on their website (see image below), it looks like EC is compulsory if the student takes computer studies (CP). Is that right? Can the student drop Economics and replace it with another humanities subject?
