MOH and many ministries' website have 'ASK JAMIE' which is the chatbot powered by GovTech. But it's not smart enough to utter dialects and vernacular lang characters.

It's quite common to http://euromil.org/armed-forces-and-covid-19/, e.g. setting up field hospitals, delivering protective equipment or enforcing lockdowns. In the Philippines or Indonesia, the military led the entire response. Vietnam's military helped with food delivery to households. Taiwan's military helped with disinfecting premises found with positive cases. Call centres and test centres in Denmark for instance are supported by their home guards.

Will the SAF be assisting at the call centre?

I don't know if we still have money to outsource to pte call centres, and certainly not offshore ones who cannot speak local dialects that you want. Besides, public sector must now buy goods & services from businesses that comply with Progressive wages and Tafep guidelines/laws. Outsourcing to offshore call centres may not be possible??

But if we choose to take the 3rd booster, will EU / US care which brand our 3rd jab is? Moderna seems to yield more neutralising antibodies than Pfizer. But Moderna's dosage for booster will be halved. Pfizer dosage remains the same at 0.3mL.

I don't think they particularly intend to protect anyone in particular. They've already accepted that those who are going to get sick will get sick, sooner or later. They are just trying to spread them out rather than have them all sick within a short period. Also, spreading them out may give the unvaccinated a chance to change their minds before the virus gets them.

But banning dining at hawker centres will cause a lot of difficulties to some older people who don't cook. Unless we can ensure food is delivered to them.

I did see US FDA only authorize Pfizer so far but the others will likely be on the list by the time anyone (or at least most) would be looking to travel there.

Booster program here is either vaccine? Seems to be the case but I couldn't find specifics.

Edit: just saw the MOH language on dosage --> both are used.

I took Moderna first time round, so I’m not in a hurry to get a booster since the efficacy barely drops after 4 mths. Will wait till next year and see. My husband said maybe we will just catch Covid in the meantime, then that will be even better than a booster.

If below 60 and no underlying health conditions, ok to catch.

Otherwise, I’d try not to catch. See the profiles of those who died, I think the main factor is whether you have those other health problems. Older age also a factor because weaker immune system. So if the old folks had very few side effects to Pfizer (like my MIL), I’d worry about them too. Don’t bring them happily go everywhere dining, gai gai here & there. Their vaccination not very effective.
