      Hi parents,

I am very new and would like to know what is the criteria that I can apply for SHHK membership?
to NCPS PV, do I MUST be one of the member of SHHK?

      Thank you.
NCPS doesn't have a PV scheme. Thus, to be eligible for Phase 2B, you will have to apply as a SHHK member.
In order to receive a recommendation from SHHK, you need to:
      1. https://shhk.com.sg/join-us/
      2. https://shhk.com.sg/faq-on-phase-2b-recommendation/

I think most classes will have Whatsapp groups formed specific to each class. Perhaps attend some parents or school events opened to parents to get to know this. Or maybe ask your daughter (if she is aware) πŸ™‚

                Hi Boonhwee,

I have an older child in Pri 5.

Which class is your girl in?
I can try asking the other parents for the link to her class parents WhatsApp group. Else you can get your girl to check with her friends - some of their parents are probably already in such groups πŸ™‚

I just got the email with info on my younger child's Pri 1 class for year 2022.
Just wondering if there are fellow parents here who also have older kids in NCPS and younger ones joining them next year?

hi parents, i am still quite confused by this new p1 registration framework and hope to get some advice. I understood that 20 more reserved seats will be allocated to 2c, making it 40 reserved in total. However, when i take this year stats as a reference, ncps already offered 64 under 2c. How does this affect their(and most pri schs) current 2c vacancies which are usually above 40 seats? or will this kind of bump up their average offering of 60-ish to 80 in that sense?

                  TIA πŸ™‚

If they are already offering more than 40 places, the new policy is unlikely to affect them.

I agree with floppy. It won't increase the seats as long as you have more than 40 left in Phase 2C.
However, we don't know if the new policy may generate some kind of panic reaction such that earlier phases may suddenly look interesting to people (forbidden fruit tastes sweeter?) Hopefully people will remain rational and things remain the same for Nan Chiau.

                        Hi Parents!

                        I am new here. :boogie:
We have 2 children, both have eczema and have since got better β€” one just graduated in 2021, and our second child is in P5 in 2022. I just signed up today in KiasuParents, as I felt that I needed to be more involved in my second child's primary school activities β€” such as meeting more friends who loves to cook and needed more help on choosing recommended enrichment classes by Parents here. If you are kind enough, please kindly add my number into whatsapp chat group : 97973787. Thank you in advance. πŸ˜„
