๐Ÿ˜“ We are just aiming for a good nearby neighborhood school.
Probably the safest bet now....thank god my kids got into top schools with tscore...! This new AL big gamble....I suspect many ambitious ones gonna end up in neighbourhood schools they didn't apply for. unless you get AL4 don't try top schools....Good luck

        AL 4 and 5,
still can enter those 4 schools

This year, Maths paper hard while Science paper easy ... is like \"neutralization effect\", cancel out, nullify each other's original intention, opposite goals.

The Maths paper set hard, is to sieve out the stronger ones. But the Science paper neutralized the Maths' intended objective. And because they cancel out each other's effect, the onus depend on all your components, in your two core languages

Yes the Science paper was the easiest. Easier than previous years.

I would have preferred harder paper...like that impossible to predict or weed out the exemplary...all those undeserved ones also AL1 and all competing for top schools when the ones that are deserving should walk in now will ballot

totally agree! looking at past few days comments, looking at so many parents complaining at MOE fb ,...... im wondering, if all kids scoring AL1 for all subjects, is this what we want? everyone just have to use pandemic as excuses and all kids get a chance to try RI, NYG, HC..........

Yes, that's the thing. I'm thinking that unless my child scores 5 and below, top schools probably need to avoid considering the emphasis on the first choice.

Since the probability is higher for a neighborhood school, we're going to pay more attention to the better ones.

Yes, I believe not all neighborhood schools are the same. Pls don't give me the nonsense of every school is a good school argument.

                  Difficult complain, Easy also complain.

Whether can get into top school depends on your kids calibre. You have to assess yr kids capability and put them in suitable schools.

Not die die must go RI/ NYGH, HCI etc.

Hi anyone knows the answer for MCQ question with one of the plantโ€™s leaves tied inside a small plastic bag?

What is the level of oxygen inside the bag after 2 hours? (Answers in graph format)

                    a) increasing /
                    b) decreasing \
                    c) increasing then decreasing /\
                    d) stays constant (straight horizontal line on graph) ----

I also feel a bit funny. Suddenly easy to get AL4 or 5? 2 days ago said a lot can not get AL6. Easy doesnโ€™t mean can score well.

Marks apart, it is encouraging that Science is easy and cancel off the maths paper. It is important that our kids see this PSLE as part of life-long learning journey, and that having an obstacle is not the end of the world.

These kids are going to be our future pillars, and they need to learn to be strong and competitive for the future.
