Well they say kids below 12yo are less affected 🤷 . So if they kanna but still can sing and dance, must still go stay in hospital??

You may be correct.. the number in hospital is abt half of number infected yesterday.

normally, announcement tend to come out on Friday, end of the week.

For sure, will extend HBL. Issue is, extend to which date line ?

Also, Psle just ended yesterday, Higher Mother Tongue paper. So, the P6s can shake leg at home long long, until their PSLE results get released in November next month ? Shake, shake, shake !

But, what P3 to P5 parents are more concerned about is the SA2 exams. Eg. Our school supposed to start Oral exams immediately on Monday 11 Oct when the kids report back to school. Maybe P3 and P4 can hold their Oral exam online (some schools have indeed done that during this HBL week). But P5 would definitely benefit from an on-site F2F exam (they don’t have many chances to practice full exam conditions before PSLE). We also have to make special transport arrangements since it is held after school.

Not knowing the plan just irritates me.

          Postponed? Till when??

Postponed? Till when??[/quote]If they extend to next week, 11 Oct - 15 Oct, they can delay return by almost 2 weeks due to PSLE marking days. Or, even extend to 22 Oct too, and it is truly 2 weeks.

If that (either of the above) is the case, I just don't know how they can reasonably hold SA2s this year? Could try to cram everything in starting 25 Oct, but this seems unfair to many. November usually has some non-schooling days due to holiday, admin days, and PCTC so really getting tight.

My kid asked why not extend school term 😂 😂 but I doubt that flies either.

            The wait continues. :?: :?: :?:

Guess it’s sensible - Pri 5s "need" to go through EOY in preparation for PSLE next year, esp. since they haven’t sat through full exam this year yet.

                    Oct 18 to 22 basically a 1 week break.

Lol. Kids have to go back to school from next week. Just no exam for P3-4. Kind of expected.

                      Everyone hates online \"learning\".

I am pleased with the outcome. Thought the tea leaves were suggesting otherwise.
