100 Plus Promenade at Sports Hub -- Kid Friendly?
-
Oh and an add on to my previous post β
Are dogβs allowed at the 100 plus promenade? We like to bring our golden retriever along with us for our weekly jogs. -
It is extremely kid-friendly! I highly recommend it too. (Caveat: we always go on weekdays/off peak. Not sure how crowded it is on weekends.)
My DS used to run about freely there with us ever since he could walk. Countless times we brought him there as a preschooler to use his kick scooter and balance bike. Later on when he transited to 2-wheeled pedal bicycle, I taught him there too. The track is extremely even & smooth, fall down also not much scrapes. Parents can jog alongside for exercise too. Sheltered from sun & rain, it is a perfect & underutilized gem IMO (on weekdays especially).
Not sure whether pets are allowed though. Have never seen any.
Have seen rollerbladers, and (less often) waveboarders and mini-Segways. -

I am happy to learn that it's kid friendly and also a great environment for cyclists and rollerbladers of all ages.
How is it that I never aware of such a gem in our little island!
Looking forward to having a family outing to the 100 plus promenade at the sports hub this weekend! -
I don't think they allow dogs; except for guide dogs. Read the rules and regulations:

My hubby and I brought our daughters to the 100 plus promenade a few weeks back! We didn't bring our dog though as we weren't sure of the rules.

We did notice some dog owners bringing their furkids along for walks along the promenade! So I guess it's allowed if the dogs are leashed. -
I am very scare of dogsβ¦and dogs are very intelligent and they know I am scare and they always run after me. Three dogs ran after me at the same time when I passed by some private houses in the East Coast. Please try not to bring dogs there.

Actually, they run after you because you were running

Just their animalistic instincts. Next time, just stay still until they get bored of you. Close your eyes if you are too scared of them.
But of course, if you are hoping to loose some weight... running is good for you

If you see a snake in front of you, you will run away. Same as I am scare of dogs and I will scream and run away when I see dogs, it is my basic instinct. My legs will run away even I close my eyes

I often ask myself what will happen if those dogs were to run to me..so I think I will just put down my plastic bag with food or I try not to run coz you won't run faster than the dog and you don't know how to climb a tree even if there is tree there..so I will put down my umbrella to protect my legs in case it bites me and scream as loud as possible.. think it will work?ChiefKiasu\" post_id=\"2041279\" time=\"1633583787\" user_id=\"3:
