My son (Sec 4 HCI) says most boys will choose PCM. The Bio teachers did tell the boys that there will be more girls in BCM lol! 🙂
Interesting observations. Wondering if it translate to more male engineers and female doctors?

Yippie girls have gotten all their results back. All's good and within expectations.
Congratulations! I heard GPA 4.0 is the max score one can achieve.

I think it is true that many medical-related professions have more girls, nursing, allied health like pharmacists, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietetics and nutrition etc.
As for medicine per se, not sure, perhaps quite even. There are no more gender quotas in our local medical schools.

Good news and encouraging for our girls! Thank you for sharing!

Oh why?? They prefer history literature geography? Heard that they can still take those in JC even without it in upper sec.

Maybe they found three sciences, science overload, plus they are not fans of practical. Maybe they are not great with hands on - I am not sure.

But what is apparent to them is that they do not have the same level of interest and passion in the sciences as compared to their triple science classmates.
They do like t heir upper sec class and classmates, but I don’t see any love for science lol!

                      MSG.
And they need MSG < 4 to promote to sec 2 or sec 3 (in addition to passing both languages).

oh so sama sama with HCI......but MSG>3 in my DS' year, will be streamed to SIP / O level class after Sec 2 / 3.

I heard its more lenient in the subsequent batches. Perhaps due to Covid? I donno.
