        This answers your question:
        https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/health/travelling-to-singapore-in-what-case-would-i-have-to-foot-my-covid-19-medical-bills

Thanks! I just copied the following point from that article:
\"Q: Under what circumstances are travellers entering Singapore required to pay for their own Covid-19 medical bills?
A: Singaporeans, PRs and LTP holders who test positive for the virus or have onset of symptoms within 14 days of their arrival in Singapore are responsible for all charges on their medical bills, according to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority's SafeTravel Website.\"

So if you travel and catch the virus within 14 days of your return, you burn a big hole in your own wallet

Should be a non-issue though. Even if suay caught the virus somehow on the way back probably the symptoms not so bad can just recover at home. The issue here is if catch the virus overseas and tested positive before returning, then could get very troublesome. So still no leisure travel for the time being.

Wait for next year.

Does cruise to no-where count as traveling? Currently they still ask for passport details.

              As young as 3 :scared:

              https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/health-environment/article/3156784/coronavirus-hong-kong-children-young-3-get-access
[quote]Children as young as three in Hong Kong will have access to the Chinese-made Sinovac coronavirus jab, with priority for those aged 12 to 17, following a latest government approval to extend the city’s vaccination drive to a wider group.

The approval made on Saturday, which came a day after government advisers recommended lowering the vaccination age, was expected to pave the way for the resumption of full-day classes for all schools.

The move will provide an alternative for teenagers, as only German-produced BioNTech vaccines are currently available to children aged 12 and above.

I think for Cruise to Nowhere, it is counted as out of spore and hence pp details are needed. If something bad were to happen and the cruise needs to dock at a country other than spore, then passengers would need their pp to disembark

I think it is more likely the kids of healthcare workers who have signed up for the trial? They know they are at higher risk of catching than the rest of the population…more willing to take the jab…also more willing to have blood drawn multiple times, and ok to report to hospital for follow up checkups for 15 (?) months post-jab.

As you mentioned, tests were done \"BEFORE\" board the plane.

What happen, if unlucky, catch covid inside the plane, from someone on the way back from Korea sight-seeing holiday to Singapore, before airplane land / touch down at Changi Airport?

If parents bring un-vaccinated children overseas, their children are vulnerable. Vaccinated people can also catch covid

How about the other way round ?

I wonder to what extent, in view of the raging tsunami covid, do our insurance companies in Singapore willing to cover \"overseas\" hospitalization bill ?

Suppose during Korea sight-seeing holiday, unlucky catch covid. You cannot fly back to Singapore for immediate treatment, because you are covid positive, cannot board the plane home.

At the same time, your oxygen level may drop to below 90, which is dangerous, or may develop high fever, as the covid virus keep attacking & \"eating up\" your lungs fast, or you may be breathless, not to mention lost both (smell & taste) senses. If breathless, how to continue rest of your sight-seeing holiday ? Even walking itself will consume energy, can cause out of breath. Hence, need to be admitted into a Korea hospital fast.

Will Korea hospitals admit in overseas tourists (e.g. Singapore citizens) , if their own ICU or High-Dependency ward or General ward hospital beds are not enough (insufficient) for their own Korean citizens' needs,

                        Or

If their Korea health-care system is on the verge of breakdown, ie. face an acute shortage of hospital beds, oxygen tanks, limited resources or facilities availability, insufficiently trained experienced doctors & nurses who are knowledgeable & well equipped to know how to look after moderate to severely hit covid patients ? Surely their own citizens needs' will come first, before any foreigners.

In this case, even if you are cash rich got $ to pay Korea hospital, for a bed. But if their priority is to save their own citizens first before any foreigner, then $ also cannot save your life
