[NOTE: Please do not try the poll. Only input data if your child has taken PSLE 2021. Thanks]

Oh... you want people to give you their kids scores, not just the highest in their school.
OK... I'll put up your poll.

Yes Chief, thanks. We will have (at least) some reference point to assess the cohort performance.

My child's school did not share any stats at all for past years.

Please add in a School's name field in your poll!

Hi Chief, I am afraid it is not possible now because there are already responses and the poll have to be reset if any changes need to be made.

          (30 pax got AL5.
          Ermmm , ok lo)

          My opinion only.
          Reset early than reset later.

I think a sample size of above 1000 responses should be good enough.

The poll will give a % distribution of AL scores and parents can use as a guide when estimating the chances of their secondary school choices for their child/children.

                Cumulative %
                ~3% : ESIS
                10%. : IP
                slightly < 50% : AL 4-16

\"As we expect slightly less than half of the PSLE cohort to score AL 1-4 for Standard subjects, the upper AL bands have comparatively narrower ranges. At the middle to lower ALs, students’ scores are more widely distributed, hence finer distribution in raw mark ranges are less meaningful.\" - MOE

For simplicity, we assume slightly less than half of the PSLE cohort will be in the range AL 4-16. If the cumulative total % exceeds 50% for this range (i.e. overall the cohort does well), we may have to adjust the indicative COP by 1 AL for all secondary schools since
\"slight fluctuations from year to year in schools' COPs can happen and would typically be by 1 AL. \" - MOE.

So sorry putien, but I think we need the name of the school. I have created another poll in a hurry to capture that. If that poll doesn't work, er, blame in on my inexperience 🙂

                      Hi, parents.

If your child is eligible for Edusave scholarships for Independent Schools (ESIS), can you share what is the total points of your child? This can be used to gauge the COP of top schools. Thank you.

If I don't recall wrongly the psle slip will.indicate your eligibility. If not eligible then nothing mentioned on slip.
