I have seen some kites being sold at some 7-Eleven outlets too. Not sure about the price though.

        Hi,
Sorry , but I did not notice the name , but saw it on 1st floor somewhere around the customer service counter.
Heard at the novena MRT , the 7-11 , seemed to have some. Not sure though.

        thanks!

Ya, today is not the right day for kite flying. Better look at your cystral ball before making a decision! 😉

Hi buds, surprised to see you in this thread. Intend to take the girls for kite flying too? 😉

The food? No, only the fried bee hoon, the buns and the green bulu were prepared by me, the rest were prepared by my friend.

Yes, we were really blessed with good weather that day, but a bit too hot if you ask me! :x My friend got all \"roasted\" that day! Could see her two tone skin when we left that day. I was half burnt despite the fact that I was in the shade most of the time, guarding the food and picnic area. My men were \"half cooked too\". 😛

Most welcome about those tips. I believe good things must be shared, right?

Learning experience, I would be buying a more professional string holder...the one recommended by SKP was too filmsy so the screw kept coming off as we flew the kite.

                    Another observation:
The ang mos don't fly kite?....maybe they are tourists on their own, not sure. We feel like animals in the zoo being watched by them in flying kites.   A few times different ang mo families walked past our flying spot and just stop to watch us fly the kite. Was kite flying invented in the East? Anyone knows?
