      Hi there,

I saw this online, but I’m not sure if it’s authenticity.

      You are leaving Singapore

Despite being marketed as 'Cruise to Nowhere', you will be in fact cruising out to international water (Malacca Straits).7 Jan 2021

Thanks zeal mummy. Yes, the ship will go into international water. Will insurance cover COVID-19 treatment after cruise to nowhere? Wouldn’t cruise to nowhere be considered as similar to staycation since we can’t disembark at port calls anyway?

For Cruise to Nowhere, I take it as being overseas, otherwise why our PP is needed.

It is debatable as there is no disembarkment, I believe previously there was a case and the Singaporeans were prompted quarantined.

            Quoted from Royal Carribean,

Will my passport need to be valid for 6 months to be able to sail?
Since there are no port of calls, there is no need for passports to be 6 months valid for our QN Ocean Getaway sailings. This applies to Singaporeans and International passports. But they still need a valid passport that is not expired yet.

I think the passport is needed as the ship travels over international waters, although passengers do not disembark. I believe previously there was a case and the Singaporeans on board were all prompted quarantined.

May I ask if we need to pay for the SG Notarised Vac Cert printout?
