I think what you are asking is if your purchases will be funded by Edusave. I believe that depends on each school and how/where you made the purchases.

Regarding MacBook or iPad - depends on what the school recommends on that year.

PSLE 2019 batch - uses MacBook
PSLE 2020 batch - uses IPad

This is what I know, so you will know what the school recommend during reporting day.
You should check with them if you / your kid has another preference.

Personally I think MacBook is more suitable for my girl.

I also think what IPad can do is limited compared to a proper laptop. Since school chooses IPad, there must be good reasons. Sufficient? It is definitely relative. Maybe relative to school works
