I took a look at the timetables and didn’t see Malay for any of the classes in year 1, 2021. Perhaps every Malay student opted for HMT so that they can drop the subject after year 4. This frees up time to focus on core subjects in year 5/6.

The first 3 classes has students taking higher Malay, higher Chinese and Chinese. The next 9 classes has higher Chinese, higher Tamil and Hindi students. This is for year 1, 2021.

In old days, higher mother tongue at O levels is equivalent to AO level in JC 😅 not sure they use same terminology now

I think it is too early. Remember, there are bound to be appeals and stuff that may change the numbers slightly.

Yes, one of my girl's classmates got in with AL6. Another friend, also Singaporean and put RGS as first choice, didn't get in with AL6.
