Posting results not out yet. My son didn't have many choices since he wants to take Computing and we are staying in the west. He couldn't get into ACJC, thus JPJC is the next best thing. One of the main difference, in terms of computing (besides COP), I read that ACJC needs to take an aptitude test in order be streamed into the Computing class (or Computing 'O' level subject at least a B3). He went to the openhouse and was told by the teacher, JPJC will try their best to satisfy student's preference. In general both the students and teachers are friendly, and environment is cozy as experienced during the openhouse!
Hi! Sorry to hijack, would you share your son’s experience in JPJC? How does he find the workload and what are the subjects that are this Jc’s strengths? Is transferring between art to sci common? Thanks for any feedbacks![/quote] -

The school will allocate one session during Orientation for the purchase of school uniform. -

May I ask how is the batch of p6 girls from St nicks primary? Thought it may give us some idea of how the culture (e.g., friendly, encouraging, bullying cases?..) would be for secondary esp IP and OP are mixed for cca…

Hi may I just ask that the min grade in order not to take chinse in JC is D7 in Sec 4 for Raffles Girls' School?
Just giving another line of thought. Sometimes teachers and peers can make a difference. Can consider starting with HCL first as does not need to take CL in JC if she achieves a certain grade (I think D7 or better). But of course if she is very certain, then opt for CL from the start if the school allows it  -
RE: CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' Secondary
Hi may I check if the primary school shares the same compound as the O levels and IP track? Are chances slim for non HMT at AL6 for #2 choice? TIA

Hi May I ask in the end did you child manage to get into SNGS with AL7? Thank you
Hi everyone, my DD scored AL 7 and I was wondering if applying for SNGS IP at COP 7(M) is fairly risky? DD is very keen on SNGS IP but we fear there will be too many applicants with HMT advantage.
Any constructive advice is very much appreciated
We were thinking of the following:
1. SNGS IP 4(D) - 7(M)
2. SCGS IP 4 - 8
3. SNGS OP 5(D) - 14
4. SCGS OP 8 - 17
