      This year,

2021 Sec 4 OP students (born 2005 batch) collected their O-level results this year, on 12 January 2022 (Wednesday).

Sec 4 students went back to their classroom to collect their results, at 2 pm.

But, if u prefer to login online to check O-level results, instead of going down all the way to the physical school premises, also can.
      Around 2.45 pm,
      you can login online,
to check your own results that has been released by MOE.

No school rule on size and colour and type for normal days. But no Apple Watch during exams. And no watch during PE.

Pri school classrooms are in primary school blocks.
Sec school classrooms are in sec school blocks.

They share the same running track and school field. The spectator stand can hold all the students from p1 to sec 4.

They also share the same canteen but timetable is managed such that pri sch recess does not clash with the sec sch recess. The canteen tables and chairs are arranged such that there are low tables and chairs on one end of the canteen and higher ones at the other end of the canteen but nothing stops them from using any tables.

The pri school bookshop is next to the sec school bookshop. So if you want cute stationery, you should buy them from the pri school bookshop 😉

The primary school block & the Secondary school block, are at different, separate building block.

But, they all share the same canteen. But because the canteen is very huge, very spacious, no worry about recess time.
One side sell Secondary side food stalls, while the other opposite side sell primary school food stalls.

The recess time of (primary school & Secondary school) are different. Amongst the Secondary (IP and O level) classes’ recess time, we have staggered hours. That means, we don’t want the canteen to be too crowded with students, esp during pandemic. So, school staggered students, to come out at different timing to makan lunch / recess time tea break.

What was last year IP (St Nick) Cut off point ? Is it 6 (Merit) or 7 (Merit) ?

                  If is 7 (Merit),
then means that all the 6 pointers will be able to enter. Most important is, as long as your #6 last school is able to catch your daughter, then is fine, in your 6 choices.

                  ============================

Besides share the same canteen, they also share the same school hall and the same bookshop.
The bookshop sell both (primary & Sec) textbook, stationery, etc. side by side, each other.

Primary & Secondary school students also share the same school bus, in the morning, if happen to stay in the same area. Eg. Toa payoh neighbourhood.

What time, does the school bus come and fetch your daughter ?
That will depend on how far u stay away, from Ang Mo Kio (St Nick).
                  Eg.

If u stay far away from Ang Mo Kio, school bus can come as early as 5.45 am at your door step, to fetch your daughter to school.
In contrast, if u stay nearby Ang Mo Kio, school bus can come later, say around 6.30 am, to fetch your daughter to school.

But, for Secondary school students, it is only a one way journey to school, in the morning. Around 7.45 am, Secondary school lessons start.

                  Afternoon,
school bus only fetch the primary school students home. Secondary school students don’t go home, yet. They stay back for Cca, project meeting, project discussion, other activities, etc. from 2.15 pm onwards. Some Secondary students also attend 3rd language (French, Japanese, German) at Bishan (MOELC). If they learn Spanish, then they go Newton (MOELC), instead of to Bishan. Towards evening time 6 pm, Secondary school students then call it a day, go home.

Secondary school students in St Nick, have a lot of school homework, everyday. Especially with E-Maths, A-Maths, Higher Chinese, Chemistry, Physics, Bio. Be mentally prepared. Homework is heavy, in this school.

                  Good thing is,
our Upper Secondary teachers here are very experienced, having taught several batches before. If your daughter come in, she will be in good hand.

                  1)
                  At Lower Secondary (1 and 2) :
the students remain inside the same class, for two years. Students, no need to change class. But, some subject Teachers can change, from end of Sec 1 going up to Sec 2.

                  a) for IP (Lower Secondary) :
small class size, around 20+ pupils, per IP class.

                  b) for O-level (Lower Secondary) :
big class size, around say, 38 to 42 students, per class.

At end of Sec 2, after Year end (October) exam is over -
students choose their Sec 3 subject combination, so have to change class.

                  2)
                  At Upper Secondary (3 and 4) :
students remain inside the same class until their O-level exam is over, in November (Sec 4).

                  IP (Year 4) students,
although have bypassed O-level, still, they are extremely busy with lots of assignments due, on hand.

For both Upper Sec 3 and 4 (IP and O-level) classes, the class size is small. Around 20+ students, per class, because already split by subject combination.

                  For the O-level track -
what was the PSLE Cut off point, in 2019 / 2020 ?
                  around 254 Tscore ?

As such, for Sec (3 and 4),
                  our school offered either
( Double or Triple ) Pure Science subject combination.
There is No Combined Science here, in this school.

                      Hi all,

May I know if there is one way school bus service for SNGS?

Do you think the COP for IP/OP will be lower this year?

                        Sorry,

we can’t answer you the question, regarding what this year’s COP going to be.

For Secondary school students, school bus is one way, in the morning.
