      Hi breezie,

I was told that white, black, dark blue or grey are all ok. Go mainly for the darker colour to be on safer side. Don’t get bright or flashy one. if got a bit colour, i think should still be ok as long as the main dominant colour are white, black, grey or dark blue should be fine.

Why not just wear normal school shoes like the ones from bata?

We saw in the video, stated that track shoes is recommended as teenagers tend to do more walking and exercises in school, thus the track shoes provide better support for them.

I think (not certain) at least 80% of sec schools in Singapore allow only regular school shoes. 🤷

Hi, same - my dc1 (IP) principal is not as strict as the shoes rules dictate, so my dc1 wore black track shoes with non white socks

A quick check on the internet, show many stating only regular school shoes. Some will state track shoes are allowed on PE days. Some are strictly school shoes. The few friends you asked could be talking about the well known schools.

The video STmummy refers to should be DHS orientation video. Yes, track shoes are recommended. Stick to white, black, grey and navy will be safe and looks nice with school uniform, logos ok.

Do the MSP students still participate in Conversational Malay? Or do they use the time to do other MSP work?

Any idea of the rough percentage of kids that made it to Year 3 MSP?
Yes, MSP students do conversational malay too. I think MSP is formal Malay. So far, no mention of travelling elsewhere for MSP so presumably all 4 yrs in school.

I think Yr 1 had 20 MSP students, this dropped to 12 in Yr 2. No idea how many are continuing in Yr 3.
