That is a very good point. And Chongfu has no balloting risk in Phase 2A for the last 5 years, although it is getting very close to it last year (93% chance). Do call up Chongfu quickly to ease your mind.

Thanks for the feedback! But I’m staying at punggol currently, so am looking at nan Chiau (which is within 1.5km-2km frm my house)Does me being from a SHHK affiliated school counts? Really thanks alot for the help!

Oh. In that case, you will have to get phase 2B affiliation by joining SHHK. But be careful here:

1. Even as a SHHK member, you are still limited by the number of places you can get for Nan Chiau. They may already have too many members trying for Nan Chiau.

2. The competition for Nan Chiau in Phase 2B has been steadily increasing from no balloting in 2017, to balloting for those who stay within 1km in 2021! As you stay >1km, I fear you might not even be able to ballot even though you paid for the SHHK membership.

that's the catch

The 5 SHHK schools do NOT take PV independently
Their PV system is centralized

I.e
If ATS needs manpower for morning traffic control, they request from SHHK.
SHHK will get from their existing PV pool to supply to ATS.

As to how to be chosen to go to ATS...... we will leave it for another time la.
