      If you are like me, even buy blue chip also can get burnt..I would suggest don't play with shares too much.

      Maybe just keep the money to pay off all loans if any or wait for good buy to come?

      Yeah I think waiting is okay. Paying off loans is good, especially car loans, credit card loans.. hm.. home loan interest rates quite low, no need pay that down so quickly.

              Many years ago (maybe during 1990+), FD interest rates were more than 3%.

                  Fixed deposit good rates now

                  HLf 1.98% , 13 mth
                  SC 2% for premier cust
                  UOB 2% , 15 mth
                  I take HLF first , SC mayb next

                      SSB returns 3%pa but June core inflation already 4.4%. Better than FD but still can’t beat inflation so purchasing power will be eroded

                        SSB returns are better than FD, relatively low risk as well. I would go for it instead of FD.
