I'm not an engineer! But I agree with ChiefK. For me, since it seems inevitable that we will catch it sooner or later, and (hopefully) catching it will neither be serious and maybe even protective against repeated infections, my feeling is \"get it over and done with\" rather than be fearful that it will happen at a very inconvenient time. I'm also in my late 50s - if it's safer to get it when you're younger, then I'd rather get it sooner rather than later.
But you can get Covid again.

        Your Point is noted. However,

        1. There are people cannot make it and die from Covid 19 Complication.

        2. Most of us are not shutting ourselves down from everyone else, we are still coming to office to work and attending social gatherings up to 05 persons with our relatives and friends.

        3. By law, we cannot violate the Safe Management Measures imposed by our Government.

        4. You caught an unlinked case of cold does not imply the Safe Management Measures are redundant.[/quote]
I think I'm as well aware of this covid situation as anyone else who has been reading news about the pandemic. Nothing else we can read, anyway... almost every page is about the pandemic in the newspaper for the last 2 years! I am aware of what is happening, \"safe management measures\", etc.

If you know how careful I have been in masking up and keeping away from people, you will agree with me that me catching anything from anyone is very difficult šŸ˜„ Yet I caught a cold after 3 years of not having one.

So yes, those safe management measures generally work, but there will be lapses. Don't think they will protect you all the way. My point is simply: \"Do all you can to prevent the disease, get vaccinated asap, follow the rules, etc. But if you catch the virus, so be it. Pray that the vaccine helps mitigate the effects, and know that there will be a better tomorrow.\"

True, but in general, every infection should make you somewhat more resistant. In any case, you can get sick in so many ways, and die from so many things, that Covid, as it looks now, isn't the same scary thing it was in Feb 2020. So I'm prepared to lighten up and loosen up.

I collected the free mask from the vending machine.

The L size seems slightly big for me.

Can you describe how thick it is, and how the material feels? I found the last mask they gave out too thick and \"woolly\" in feel. I like those NDP merlion masks that were handed out in 2020 - light and smooth. I won't bother to collect if I don't think I'll wear it.

And does anyone know where I can get masks made of the same material as those merlion masks?

I think the material is thicker than the white mask with merlion

How smooth is it? Because I find that most textures, even the surgical masks, are a bit scratchy.
