Thanks! I've been using various family members' masks (they prefer to use surgical masks) plus similar ones handed out by church, etc! Probably need to buy some since mask-wearing probably won't end anytime soon.

I bring out the govt cloth ones for exercise/ jogging so that when it gets wet when kept in pocket, it can be washed & re-used.


For actual day-to-day use, we use the KF94 type now. There’s space around the nose/ mouth area so that it is easier to breathe but the design also fit the sides of the nose/ cheek/ chin better for protection. Also because your mouth/ nose doesn’t contact the mask all the time, there is less smell when use for whole day.

Prices have come down quite a lot, so it’s really not that expensive now if you get it from those online shops ~ 11 or 12c each.

I have a whole bag of masks given to me by my sisters. But I hardly used any. Normally I would wear a mask for 1-2 months before throwing it away, not because it was unusable, but because I need to reduce that huge bag of masks :slapshead:

I just got the new Temasek mask. I like the nose pad First time I see such a thing on a mask.

The current mask being distributed is an antimicrobial mask with an N95 filtration middle layer. Does this mean it is as gd as wearing a N95 mask?

I think it is supposed to be an N95 mask, but I got the large and it seems a bit loose on me. Well, maybe it will shrink after a few washings...

I try to collect the free mask from a vending machine near my house but the machine displayed the message"oops, there is something wrong" and ask me to try later. My neighbour also tried to collect the mask at the same time but same message came out. We try again tomorrow.

If anything, I have found the masks loosen a bit with time and usage.
The ear loops not adjustable?
