There were many respiratory viruses out there before Covid, and they are still out there. My husband and I have both had a couple of colds (fewer than normal) over the past year, but tested negative for Covid.
Pray we learn to live with these viruses & yet kept safe. We’ve learnt fr this covid episode to be more vigilant & practice proper hygiene. Stay safe dear.

Hi all, I'm the owner of SG Quarantine Order Support Group, realised that our group link was being shared here as we saw an influx of members/parents in the last 12 hours. 😂

To further add on to Estéema's post, we actually have more than 10 pediatricians in our group manning our paeds sub group, and another sub group manned by two OBGYN doctors for pregnant mummies.

There are many parents joining our group in the last one month as well due to Omicron hitting many kids.

If the site admin/owner finds our group useful for the parents here, let me know whether we can work something out to help the parents here. 😄
You might have gotten a greater influx if you had used Whatsapp instead of Telegram... 😂

Most young and working people are using Telegram now and Whatsapp is considered as only \"old man and old women will use\". Sigh....

I think some groups use Telegram because:

                  - the maximum number of people in the group is far larger than in Whatsapp
                  - personal phone numbers are not revealed in Telegram

I used to follow some PSLE Science Q&A telegram groups, but after a while lost interest cos far too many messages piled up (I put the notifications on mute). Have not bothered to reinstall/sign in ever since I changed phone few months ago.

Some of the advantages of using Telegram are :
                    1. Can Set up a Voting in the Chat Group
                    2. Can Control the time interval for each member when sending messages...that is each member can send out a new message only after X min after his/her previous message.
                    3. When a member is kicked out of the Chat Group, he/she cannot read any previous messages in the Chat.

DD mentioned, I only come to WA to message you guys
Sorry chief but apparently they reserve the use of Whatsapp to communicate with older people. WA messages is not lost in the huge influx of messages , so let's take it that we are 'important' enough not to be mixed with the cluttered lot ...
