      HRN is based on nomination?
So it means it is an infected close contact which the TT app or token records plus nominated by the infected person? It mapped my first experience but not my second.

My second time HRN apparently was a complete stranger cos nobody I knew now that I have come into contact the past few days were tested C+. HRN usually dispatches immediately right, within 24 hours? :scratchhead:
Heard from the grapevine that it was based on class seat map submitted by teacher, as well as C+ pupil's own info to teacher regarding his/her recess/CCA/school bus close contacts. As you know, in a school setting kids don't scan their TT tokens at the gate and are disallowed from using HPs during school hours. It's all based on FTs judgment and perhaps kids' own recollection.

As for non school settings, I'm not sure about the revised parameters set by GovTech, i.e. how many minutes of contact, and proximity from C+ person to trigger a HRN to a stranger. You might have sat next to this person for quite some time? Transient passersby don't count anymore.

Previously, C+ persons would receive an SMS link to nominate close contacts, but this weblink has been removed by MOH following the implementation of this new 5-day HRN protocol. Perhaps they want to prevent pp from abusing the nomination system. You can always bluff that you had drinks with ABC, because ABC needs more free ART kits! 😆

        Point no.3 till 12pm on D7, means freedom ?
Yes, that's the default, but one should play by ear. If still unwell and +ve on Day 8, then stay isolated lah. Be socially responsible. Take selfie with the Day 8 +ve cartridge with date/time/name to WA boss/HR.

Covid cases increasing in community! Let’s stay vigilant. There goes my b’day celebration.

Think businesses & kids all greatly disappointed. Will not be able to reconnect with frds outdoors. Hope F&B didn’t order too much perishables.

The number of people for gatherings is still fixed at 05 persons. 5 friends can meet both indoor and outdoor.

The inevitable has happened . My helper tested positive :gloomy:

Something even though I was dreading it, I was sort of prepared for next steps given my aging parents are staying with me. Asap, I isolated her at home and did the necessary for requesting external isolation for her, and have managed to get her to the medical isolation centre by the next day . Fortunately, she has it reasonably mild -- just sore throat, no fever, some tiredness. We are all testing, so far ok, but obviously need to monitor closely and take tests the next few days - fingers crossed. Pretty good chances that one of us could have gotten it from her. Planning what to do , if one of us get it. For now we are avoiding close interactions with each other, keeping to our rooms, - just in case. But 🙏 we somehow escape .

                Any suggestions,

Now my question - How do I clean the toilet she used? It is almost 24 hours since she last used it. Can I mask up and spray disinfectant first and then clean up? I am not sure if I should get a parttime cleaning service to get it done? Since we are all under HRN , is that allowed, even if it is, is it a responsible thing to do?

The only bright spot is I can go collect my loot of ARTs 😆

Maybe disinfect the possible surfaces touched by her then pour some detergant all over, use water pipe to spray? But will spraying cause the virus escaping into the air which in turn endanger you? I m not sure too but I guess that’s what I will do…wipe first and use water and detergent for whole toilet…spray lightly slowly and put in mask maybe. Take care …and this morning I thought I may also…luckily ok after drinking some water after woke up…throat dry while sleeping.

I can feel your anxiety. I was like that 2 days ago... My sibling was tested positive and then we were trying hard to evacuate everyone, especially my mum from there... Alas, within a few minutes later, everyone was tested positive!
It's really scary how fast it spreads! The only comfort was majority had the booster shot done so it was either no symptom or very mild.

Anyway, it is recommended to wear a mask at home during this period. My extended family was too late in doing so.
Open every window to air the place.

If you plan to clean the bathroom yourself, please mask up PROPERLY. Someone I knew did cleaning and got it because her surgical mask was loose. Personally I like the KF94 mask which covers up fully.

When everything looks \"depressing\", the ART loot really makes things brighter! 😂 It's really not the cost but the vibes of something positive that helps.
