Yesterday my mom took a pic of the eye vits asking me how many tablets to take.. once in a while she will take pic on those things I bought for her like like skin care stuffs/vits, asking what's that for, how to use/eat..

Perhaps can alternate between the calcium pills and milk.. I also like warm milk before bed..

I’m still learning. Think cholesterol medication helps these drugs are suppose to be highly effective in preventing heart problems such as heart attack and stroke. According to the American Heart Association (AHA) Trusted Source, they reduce risk of these and other cholesterol-related problems by approx 50 percent. Stopping essentially double risks for massive heart attacks.

I believe it’s possible to stop but under doctor’s guidance. Not sure how but I assume they regulate the medication by stepping down but I’m not the right person to answer how it’s really done. Just aware that once started on cholesterol medication cannot stop.

The Government is offering participation incentives of up to $2,500 for Singaporeans born in 1979 or earlier if they join CareShield Life by Dec 31, 2023. If you are part of the Merdeka or Pioneer generations, you can get additional incentives of $1,500.

I dont know but am pretty sure govt knows bec this CareShield Life is administered partly by govt.

I am still debating whether to join CareShield Life bec the annual premium payable is $800+.

CareShield Life is not for me as it’s high premium for my age is just not a good deal. I think I’ve snug covers with my various health covers with AIA, NTUC Income, Great Eastern & AVIVA. The rest of my funds shld see me thro.

Not being able to perform some ADLs is quite common when old and hence the importance of CareShield Life.

Do note the terms & conditions for claims & I’ve alr mapped our care plans in the event I need nursing care or helper care. At least I’m in control & can decide who can access my funds or how I want to use my funds. Self-insure in a way with family members’ involvement.

I’ve realized after buying diff insurances over the years, oftentimes the value either depreciates as costs goes up it devalues what was intended. I’ve learnt to balance insurances with various investments to bring some balance for my future needs.

Think the impt bit wld be to hv trusted family members to be able to help access such pre-planned insurances for claims & other funds for retirement or any future disability need for use for self. Building close & warm relationships helps not to deviate too far fr my wish till the day I cannot express or utter my wishes.
