May I ask how did your helper know she is infected since she has only a sore throat.

        I want your \"loot\" :imcool:

        Take care.

Ask another family member not living in the same household and not with HRN to collect to kits.

I can feel your anxiety. I was like that 2 days ago... My sibling was tested positive and then we were trying hard to evacuate everyone, especially my mum from there... Alas, within a few minutes later, everyone was tested positive!
It's really scary how fast it spreads! The only comfort was majority had the booster shot done so it was either no symptom or very mild.

Anyway, it is recommended to wear a mask at home during this period. My extended family was too late in doing so.
Open every window to air the place.

If you plan to clean the bathroom yourself, please mask up PROPERLY. Someone I knew did cleaning and got it because her surgical mask was loose. Personally I like the KF94 mask which covers up fully.

When everything looks \"depressing\", the ART loot really makes things brighter! 😂 It's really not the cost but the vibes of something positive that helps.
            Thanks sushi88!
Didnt think of KF 94 mask, will use one.

Lucky they got it mild. Actually that is the best right , get it but no to mild symptoms. Can be done with it somewhat atleast .

Free ARTs like getting a candy from teacher

It's still best not to get it...long Covid is no joke. But if not heng get it, then accept it as it comes and try to focus on the recovery.

The thing I know from reading the medical studies is those who had Delta can get Omicron as a re-infection. However, if one has Omicron before, then will not get infected by Delta because Omicron variant is a more complex mutation.

As for double Omicron infections, I read that there are cases of re-infection, but rare and mostly mild infections(for vaccinated). This recurrence is possible especially if the first infection of Omicron is mild and there is not much immunity built up so any large doses of Omicron viruses around us can cause a second infection.

I’m sorry to hear of Sun & Sushi’s families affected by covid.

We were at the columbarium to mark FIL’s anniversary & hubby wasn’t feeling well on Monday. He tested positive whilst rest of family are negative. He’s got the headaches, sore throat, cough & bodyaches. We’ve been worried abt MIL. Thankfully, she’s negative incl today.

I didn’t isolate fr DH as initially I thot I caught the virus too with light sniffles but no sore throat. Lots of phlegm. We slept without the aircon and open up all windows. Thankfully no overnight downpour.

We received HRN & hv to do ART daily. We’ve asked DH’s brothers to step up engaging with MIL, whilst we abstain fr any outside interactions.

Wonder how too -- she took her off one week before she tested positive -- Could we have spread it to her - DS goes to school every day...
She had a headache too - - but that is her usual problem , she gets them 2-3 times a month atleast. Not sure if linked.

                    Not sharing my loot 😢

Actually one can still go out after testing negative for that day.
