        LNW, thanks for the info..

Sun, thanks for the info and hope your cough going away soon. I heard fm a friend that ice tea will make her cough worse..so if can avoid it. Reading your post on the getting/recovering has some calming effects somehow 😄
For irritating coughs and sore throats, anything cold will make it worse as low temperatures constrict the throat. Oily and spicy foods also irritate the lining of the throat. So try to go for mild foods - both in temperature and taste!

The general pattern is that there Tuesday figures are the highest (after the weekend), and then daily nos. fall gradually over the week. So it's most likely that tomorrow's figures will go up, but hopefully won't be as high as last Tuesday. For the past 3 weeks, each Tuesday high has been lower than the preceding Tuesday, and the general trend is downwards.

Glad to hear you are -ve!

The one warning I have received from friends is not to ignore the cough, so do take care.
                Hi Sun,
Thank you so much for your caring advice. My cough have seemed to disappear today. Ano reason to celebrate!

My BIL just tested C+ 3 days ago & seems to be recovering fast. Apparently, he took Flumicil & quarantine in the room alone to rest. I guess different individuals will react to the virus differently & I believe it’s also the load one gets. I attribute my slower recovery fr nasal congestion & cough to my existing sinus problems. It was good that I had Orasyl & NeilMed Rinse. Prior to starting on that, the scratchy cough was unbearable.

Apparently, there are quite a big population with sinus issues.

In my case, years ago, my family doc explained my nostril bone structure is exceptionally narrow, hence a slight drip will block my nostril. The other problem that exacerbate is my gastric reflux, which is acid back-flowing &!causes more mucus to fill my nasal system into cavities of my skull. Hence, every morning, I’ll be full of phlegm & mucus to clear. No choice.

Oh dear, hate sinus headaches - doesnt let me do anything.

Do you do steaming? I find that it helps me a lot.
This time a friend suggested to put grated ginger while boiling water, and adding some lemon juice after switching off . I dont know if those helped but it had a very spa ish feel, and smelt good so inhaling was nicer.. Steam eases congestion in my nose and head doesnt feel so heavy.
