Are you keen in sending her for homeleave? Is she keen returning for 2 weeks & return (gotta do PCR, quarantine, etc)? If “Yes” to either or both, then she can renew back in her hometown. Cheaper & faster.
Send back home for home leave will be cheaper?
She need to quarantine (not sure can at home or not) for 7 days. The cost should be not cheap, right?

I’m sorry. I meant cheaper to process passport in Indonesia than in SG. Not referring to PCR tests & quarantine costs, as this wld be yr cost in any case if she goes back for homeleave. Hope this clarifies.

Heart warming video which mentioned about how the \"Joint Income or Sponsorship Scheme\" helped in terms of overcoming the restriction regarding minimum income needed to employ MDW.

Cost in Indo is definitely much cheaper. I’ve no idea cost of PCR.

Hi All. I need some advice here. I hired a helper primarily to look after my baby and for household chores/cooking. She is due for renewal but since my two children are in preschool already, do i still need a helper? Or part time helper will do? When the children are in school, i feel there is nothing much for the helper to do. Anyone here hire helper although children in school?

This is really a decision you can make on your own depending on yr family needs. Every family is different - some still requires the helper to clean house, iron uniforms & work clothes esp if employers are full-time working; some need them to focus on housework whilst they’re SAHP to focus on children engagements whilst the helper help around with errands & some need coz besides children they hv elderly. PT helper do not come cheaper either & u might hv to bear with frequent changes if they do not work out or hv better arrangements or they’ve last minute personal needs as u wld not be signing any contract with them.

Really not much for anyone to comment as we do not know yr details of yr family needs.
