        Hi,

        1. Parents who have their children in MPM, need your advise. Understand that MPM train analytical thinking, however, are they able to complete their exam on time? Reason for asking being can’t decide between CMA and MPM. CMA trains the mind to be fast in getting and checking an answer, however it’s not analytical.

        2. Children in MPM programme, i assume they’ve good result. can share the results in their math exam?

I started my P3 son on Kumon early this year. That is late by any standards, but his routine calculations have improved by leaps and bounds. Doesn't help much with the type of modelling questions that schools are so fond of these days, though.

My girls have been doing them since 4, now at P3 and P4 they are bored by it... they are doing bigger numbers than school and not into problem solving....but i have to admit their mental sums and multiplication is great!

            Hi

My daughter is in Primary 4. She is good in maths. I am looking for some good Maths Tution Centre for her. I am looking for Enrichment Centre who follow the School Syllabus. Maths Olypiad/Abacus I am not interested in all that.

Please suggest me a good Maths Tution centre in the East.

Appreciate if some one can help me.

I saw Learning lab scoring ‘highest’ in votes. So can those

experienced learning lab maths’ kiasuparents share your views?

                  Hi all expert out there,

I am trying to figure out which is better CMA or MPM for my 4year old boy.

                  Appreciate your views.

                  Thanks
                  🙂

I think MPM is more \"practical\" to prepare children for Primary schools.

Based on what I have read in the forum, it seems that alot of people are placing their children in Kumon. Can anyone provide me with the pros and cons of kumon vs MPM? Lost mum

                    Hi,

I think that you can get the information from the below link.

                    http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=995

If you wanted to put your child in Kumon, you also need to decide based on your kid character. As Kumon got tendency to repetitive assignment as they need to complete the paper within the limited time else it will need to repetitive until they meet their timing. As for the Pros, they bound to be good points where parents still would want to enrol the kid in the course.

His tuition school is near Kovan MRT (inside the private estate).
The class focuses alot on model drawing and problem solving.
