I’m wondering why no one mentioned My Think Tank. My colleague was very happy with the centre in Bt Timah but i wanted to hear others’ feedback b4 i decide. Any one has any comments abt My Think Tank?

I think MPM is more \"practical\" to prepare children for Primary schools.

Based on what I have read in the forum, it seems that alot of people are placing their children in Kumon. Can anyone provide me with the pros and cons of kumon vs MPM? Lost mum :oops:

If you wanted to put your child in Kumon, you also need to decide based on your kid character. As Kumon got tendency to repetitive assignment as they need to complete the paper within the limited time else it will need to repetitive until they meet their timing. As for the Pros, they bound to be good points where parents still would want to enrol the kid in the course.

The class focuses alot on model drawing and problem solving.

I'm not sure if he himself does the teaching or the price as my boy is only 3.5yo.
I happen to know that it's there because my aunt stays near there and we have been driving past that place for many years

can u recommend a good maths center for my son? He is in P1 now and from his SA1 results, rekon tt he needs improvement on problems sum n creative maths thinking.

So far, his basic additions and multiplication are ok after attending Enopi since Feb this year. But Enopi dont emphasize muc on problem sums. Been trying to check out a good maths center that do emphasize on that. Do you have any advice to give?

Hi, i need advice. I was also thinking enrolling my 4 yr old son to CMA, then proceed to MPM. If i withdraw my son from CMA after 2 yrs, will it be ok? Will he remember the \"formula\" thought and continue to use it for mental calculation? Pardon me for asking this ignorant question. I am still doing research on this area and i read a thread somewhere that his son forgot the formula when he's in P1...


Ideally i thought of enrolling for both but it seems a bit \"stress\" for a kid to attend 3 math classes in a week , so i gave up the idea. Am i thinking at the right track? For him to attend CMA and get the basic mental calculation right, then proceed to MPM to grasp the mathematical concepts? Its rather difficult to make a decision. :?
