Based on past track records, those on NUS wait-list will most likely get offered as NUS sort out their wait-list candidates prudently to minimize the impact of disappointment for those in the queue list. So pray and keep your fingers crossed. Chances are there. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply with all the comforting & encouraging words.

I was advised in total there are 70 candidates in the WL. That leads me as a parent becomes very anxious over the final result. Just hope and pray hard all will turn out well.

Frankly speaking, in my entire life, I’ve never has this anxiety over children’s education, result release & postings etc at all but this time round, somehow, I’m very anxious over this. Maybe the competition is far too stiff ? Just pray hard …

It is not life and death, have a 平常心 peaceful mind, you are anxious also no use...the sky is not going to fall. If the outcome is successful, it is good, if not, then there are other better alternatives waiting for your kids, who knows? I think it is an experience where everyone will encounter in life, e.g. whether I can get into uni? whether this company will employ me? whether this girl will marry me? whether I can give birth? Or whether I could strike toto this time. Since you kid has tried his best during this round, then let wait for the results and see how first.
