Hi everyone! We have just moved to <1km of RGPS, and wonder if <1km is almost guaranteed a slot, do we have a group chat for next year RGPS P1 girls yet? If yes, I will like to join. Good luck everyone! it's finally started.

our school have informed u by an email, officially :-
which 2023 P1 class, your daughter has been assigned to.
And when is that, going to be ?
The school's official email will be sent out to All K2 successfully enrolled pupils admitted into school (RGPS), in November 2022. -

Hi! Other than a statistical blip in 2020 when SCs under 1km had to ballot for places in Phase 2C, RGPS looks like a shoo-in for SCs under 1km! It has otherwise never balloted for this group of homeowners. Good luck!

Under Phase \"2C\" :-

this is true only,
for K2 girls (SC), living less than 1 km.
If you are a PR, living less than 1 km from RGPS, Sorry, no chance, under 2C
Because
Balloting for SCs, will take place.
=============================
But if you are a PR, living less than 1 km, and applying under Phase 2B, either as a PV or join Grassroot, not under 2C, Yes, u may stand a chance. -

Well, it should be comforting for people that if you look closer at the numbers, RGPS has way more than the 40 minimum seats guaranteed in Phase 2C, so I don't think the changes to Phase 2A, 2B and 2C would apply to RGPS. It does appear to be a shoo-in for people staying <1km. Fingers crossed :xedfingers:

your daughter is a SC and u get short-listed to become a Parent Volunteer (Rgps), you can apply under Phase 2B. PVs staying more than 2 km, do stand a chance, under 2B phase.
But,
if u are talking about Phase 2C,
as can be seen from the past years' balloting statistics, balloting was conducted -
most of the time,
for SCs living more than 2 km.
And occasionally,
for SCs living between (1 to 2) km, in some years.
