J took out the veg to cook for lunch today only to realise no more eggs. Kept reminding myself to buy eggs. Seems eggs are more important to us. Chicken buying lesser already…Frozen meat should be fine to us now.

Ask hawker centre coffee shop whether they want to exchange coins for notes. Some stalls don’t mind.

If u have a lot of $ notes, approach more than one coffee stall, or go bank (they may charge u ?)

You can sell them to some antique notes and coins collection shops. I found one in Google for your info.

Auntie, please don't stupidly sell your collectible $1 bird and ship series for today's $1 coins, ok!
These are vintage notes. The value has shot up. Keep it for your descendants, especially for your DD's future DOWRY! Peter Lim gifted Kim Lim a vintage $10k RED SHIP series note for her recent wedding.

My vintage notes are all not sold! My baobei... Unless I become so penniless that I've to sell them to feed my mouth.

My granny gave my dad Strait Settlement and Banana notes ok.

I don’t read it as Star wanting to sell her notes. She’s just merely responding that she have some old notes.

Our dear frd LNW was just proactive in offering a suggestion but she’s not suggesting anything to effect of selling at face value and the fact is she mentioned “antique” which a visit to collection shops shld trigger the value abv face value.

It’s great frdship tt Zeit always chip in to enlighten us with valuable advices.

What I normally will do is checking offers fr diff shops before rating if really wish to let go. I’m very sure Star is wise to check around & May eventually keep it as “dowry” for her DD. 😊
