I guess DH is the ‘strange one’ - he prefers working fr home & finds it more productive then hv all sorts of interruptions in the office. He’s dealing with regional Bz & zoom mths are most productive when travel restrictions are imposed. But recognize, not all jobs can WFH. One of my BIL hv to be physically at work during CB. I guess this similar to all frontliners or those in consumer supply line & hv to be present amongst products or machines for physical checks, maintenance & stock-take.
My DH is the same. He prefers working from home, less traveling to and fro office and more time to finish up his work. I, on the other hand, prefer to be outside instead.

DH & I used to love this dish & will cook it often until age caught-up with us. Nowadays if we do cook it’ll be when more at the extended family come together, so we hv a little taste but not over-eat o’wise very “gelat”. I use only the dark vinegar with the bulldog. I used to be very light on ginger but as I got older, I put more as it helps de-gas my system. I’ve sweet tooth, hence used to use more palm sugar than recipe wld call for. My home dish always hv lots of garlic cooked till real soft.

The first thought was vinegar trotter but one dd dont quite like it..if braised then both can eat. I m cooking 1 pot so that's a better option.

Maybe google and cook the vinegar dish on yr own? More to eat 😂

Thanks MKS for the suggestion! Honestly, I can only make simple dishes… this confinement dish is beyond my abilities!!
