How odd. I thought that the schools would (and should) notify unsuccessful applicants. It only seems courteous to do so. Then again, courtesy is becoming a rare commodity these days.

Usually at this first stage of selection, the schools do not send out rejection emails. I think it could be due to the volume of applicants. However if student has gone for the 1st selection test or interview, schools will inform via email even if it’s unsuccessful.

Thank you! Same for all the parents. It’s a waiting game, and it’s important we try not to let the stress out on the kids in the meantime. Don’t want them taking rejection personally.

Their interview for MEP is on 2 July…so wondering until now no news means not shortlisted?

Hi,

Does any parent know that NYGH has finished notifying their shortlists for sports DSA, particularly Wushu. Not that I’m anxious but my DD just hit 12 and we need to bring her for booster jab before our nearby vaccination centre closes. If she’s shortlisted we will hold back the vaccination plans. I’m aware that trial and interview for wushu is on 28 and 30 Jun. I’ve also tried calling their DSA hotline yesterday whole day but nobody picked up. 😅

All sports should be notified for NYGH. Usually they give a week notice.
