I think it’s best not to read too much into the posts. We can always second-guess what is being shared, who sees what, what they will do with it and ultimately, how it will affect our kids. From my perspective:

      1. Share, if you want to.
      2. Read, if you want to.

Ultimately, I cannot shake the feeling that the kids should enter into the DSA exams without being clouded by possible questions, themes etc. I know that it’s nigh impossible for that to happen as parents (being parents) will always want to give our kids any edge they can get. Just remember that too much help can backfire as kids can end up being overly reliant on external support.

So, we (yes, myself included) should find a balance for our children, and ourselves, in how we approach the DSA process.

But the main thing about DSA is talent and passion. So it defeats the purpose for the schools to inform everyone the format and qn type. Then that’s hothousing. :siam:
        Is the same scenario :-

P3 parents often asked about the test format and type or style (nature) of GEP (Round 1 and Round 2) questions asked, when their P3 kids attended GEP selection tests.

That's always bugged me. Taking GEP \"tuition\" etc. is contrary to what the GEP is designed to do.

... but I'm sure that this is a discussion for a different forum/day.

Hi In past years, how many slots do RGS and NYGH reserve for leadership DSA students? Like a rough gauge will do.

Have all IP schools sent emails for their academic domains?

I can't speak for RGS but I recall reading somewhere previously that for RI (again, not RGS or NYGH) that they take about 30-35% of Sec 1 students via DSA. I suspect that many schools adopt a similar approach but that's just my guess.

SJI just sent out VA shortlisting e-mail (Drawing Test).

Good luck to those who applied!
