Does NYGH give everyone who applies a chance to go for selection test? Wondering if it's like NUSH where all applicants are invited for the test.
Based on the NYGH website, should be shortlisted..they underlined and bold the word “shortlisted”

I think maybe NUSH is the only exception. Most schools probably shortlist for selection tests.

Still silent on the VS (VA) front but I thought I saw someone say earlier that VS had sent out some e-mails for sport domains. Rather odd that they're quite quiet but I'm not complaining. Better to space these out.

LOL! Yah, either they communicate the shortlist differently based on each domain OR they have already communicated for all domains and our kids didn't make the cut.

              Oooh... the suspense!

I think it very much depends on school. For those schools v well known for producing top swimmers, they usually already know who they want before the DSA process even starts. It is very straightforward for swimming as national rankings are openly available. Some schools do not even hold sports trials for swimming and selection is based on national rankings alone. Which sch did you have in mind though?

If NYGH used or stated the word \"short-listed\" on her DSA website, then the answer is No, not every applicant can attend the selection test.

So far, the only 2 schools that allow ALL DSA applicants to take Academic tests are :-

                    1) NUS High

                    And

                    2) SST : the school of Science & Technology
