That's what I heard too. It's coming out in batches and depending on domain. Just gotta be patient and hang in there

Sorry, I'm puzzled. What do you mean by this? Is it that the child has no choice in either of these 2 areas?

This is based on my observations, talking to friends who are in the industry and feedback from parents.
The first preferred pick will be from that pool. That’s the best way to benchmark or predict PSLE results. No surprises or stressing the secondary school system later on.
For academic domain, only the tests from elite schools are considered. So, if a child is in neighbourhood school, chances are, the school will not be invited for the tests thus no matter how good you are, you will not get past shortlist round. Thus, DSA is irrelevant because the most reliable means of getting into a good school is based on PSLE results.
Just my thoughts going through this process now. -
