      .....
Not loading my kid with work yet at this point…giving more down time due to tiredness on weekdays. We have whole weekends free and some public holidays in August for us to step on the gas…[/quote]
It's a good strategy, need to peak at the right time and not run out of gas at the start of the homestretch...

Not sure your guys' schedule. Guess is for many kids T3 Week 5 - Week 9 is when the action starts. Prelim Oral + PSLE Oral + Prelim Written Papers.

After that, just try to tidy up and then spin the magic PSLE wheel....

I'm concerned so having my kid ramp up with the prelims. If he catches a bad break and gets hit with COVID during the PSLE, I fear that they'll use his prelim results for Sec admission. That's not great as boys (being boys) only ramp up towards the very last leg and tend to be more complacent beforehand. Need to treat the prelims no differently than the PSLE unfortunately 😞

This is a very good point. Hadn't thought of the covid factor. Thanks for sharing.

Posted a few weeks ago in the 2022 PSLE thread but here are the mechanics on what SEAB does if the student cannot sit for PSLE (or parts of it).

Received NJC STEAM Invitation to selection trial today. Any parents can share your child’s past experience on what’s tested or asked?

                      Thanks
