My son came out from the camp jolly & happy, and first words he said was: “very fun” in answering my question of “how was it?”. Could “see” a smile behind that mask

Having said that, after we analyzed, looks like he got the approaches wrong in the Physics experiment, as his two approaches didn’t depend on mass of the object in the context. Nevertheless, fingers crossed!

It's indeed an invaluable experience for the kids. Heard quite a few did not have enough time to complete the Physics experiment.

Echa was nominated by peers with teachers’ approval and Eagles was by school.

DD was school cca junior team leader at P3 and was supposed to continue to be cca leader for senior team. However, being Head prefect by Term 3 at P5, she had others replaced her as cca leader so that each child is given a chance.

Is it for the first round selection? Have you tried calling the school to ask when the results will be out?

Yah. For first round selection. School said that they'll release shortlist in July so if no news by the end of July means game over. Will probably check in with the school again next week.

We attended Bilingual interview today, didn’t have other audition.

Good luck to all of the kids that were at the NUSH camp and hope to make it there! Should be a quick turnaround for interview (if needed by school). Otherwise, it seems like about a month or so until the results are sent out (school will likely be one of the earlier ones to release).

Thanks for sharing! Indeed different process in different school as both ECHA and EAGLES are teacher nominated in my kid's school. They also only select junior CCA leader in p5 instead of p3 or 4.

1) Tested one Physics experiment, or also included testing (Chem + Bio) experiments, as well ?

Or

2) P6 short-listed candidates can choose which experiment they want to do, out of (Physics / Chem / Bio) tests, available ?

Yes, my son said so too, but after going for the camp, he say he think his chance is so slim, the kids in his group are so much more knowledgeable than him and have a lots of certs.. 😂

But overall he enjoyed the experience, he mentioned it’s very eye opening..
