My son also said the same thing. According to him, they did some experiments and group work. Oh ya, he said some kids did not turn up for the camp so some groups have less members.

After the camp, he told me to wash his tshirt and keep it properly. Can see that he really treasure the tshirt. 😂
My son told me they were told there is around 500 kids shortlisted for this selection camp and only 160 places.. this years seems to be bigger group and lesser places than past years of 400 kids and 170 places from what I gather from past posts..

400 vs 500 is huge difference. If 400 got invited , minus 50 absentees, the total reduced to 350 and chances of being selected becomes much bigger

Thanks Chompchomp! At least now I know the profile St Nic is looking for based on your dau’s. And if the interview is coming Sat, I can stop checking my emails and 死心 already.

Hi hi, what do they test for bilingualism? Must the mother tongue language be Chinese? Is the interview in English? Thanks in advance.
For SNGS, bilingualism is English and Chinese.
Students need answer in Chinese for some questions.
My daughter said that teacher asked them to share opinions for one English article and one Chinese article.

That's comforting and worrying at the same time.

St Nicks do send out rejection letter. So if you haven't heard anything, could be a chance.

Sorry but the rejection letters will be sent out meaning to those whom applied for their DSA but did not get shortlisted for interview or those went for interview but was not selected?
