      Nope,
same reply I got from them when I called - results only out end July.
If SST had replied u above, means SST will release outcome to short listed candidates
      on end July itself,
      not even one day earlier.

      But,
if SST had replied u \"by\" end July, then is a different story

      because

\"on\" vs. \"by\" the date mentioned, are totally different.

We have just received the email from SST to attend the selection camp on 6 Aug.

This time round, need to prepare a 1-min Show and Tell related to STEAM.
        Is this new?

There is a 1 min Show and Tell to prep right?
I am thinking if SST is placing emphasis on the difficulty of the subject or the presentation of the show and tell.
DS has no idea what to prep and didnt seem very worried now. I suspect like a few days before round 2, he will start panicking. :stupid:

Thanks! We received the email yesterday too!

Based on what I heard from previous years (pre-covid), they put the kids in groups to work on some activities and then present their findings/results. I've not heard of the 1-min show and tell segment so perhaps this might be new this year? Or maybe they want to see how all the kids present because if in a group and someone gets nominated to present, then the other group members might not have the opportunity to show their presentation skills.

I believe there should still be some sort of group activity considering the whole duration needs 2 hours. Can't be everyone just sit and watch everyone's 1-min of fame... lol...

I am happy so long my DS is having fun in the process. I also saw from other thread, some other schools wid STEM DSA also asked to prep similar kind.

Maybe more than just 2 sessions. DS' session is at 10.50am.
