Thanks for sharing and all the best.
All the best for your child in the interview!
We didn't receive the interview email, I guess that means it's either confirmed accepted or confirmed rejected for us, just that we don't know yet.
50-50 chance according to Bayesian, or either 100% or 0% according to Frequentist

I think you shall be happy about not receiving an interview invite from NUSH. Your boy's profile is impressive and most likely has been confirmed by NUSH.
My boy has similar strength as your boys, is good at math and also has quite some Infocomm experience.
It seems that they are the only two primary school student training on Mr judge and code breakers.
Let us wait for the good news... -

sending you a DM to confirm, as we also noticed another Primary 6 student who had started mrJudge & https://Codebreaker.xyz since he was P4.
They can perhaps do virtual coding contest together every weekend or such. And let's wait indeed, hopefully both our kids are accepted into NUSH!
EDIT: oops just realized from your previous post that your son applied to HCI Infocomm, HCI Math and RI Math only. -
Hi I wanna ask if anyone know or heard based on previous years any one been offered 2 RGS CO for two diff domain ? My friend son two years back for RI got CO for Art and Shooting but I not too sure in RGS will they offer 2 CO ?
Also during interview , should they share that they apply two domains in rgs ? -

It is always good to be honest during interview. Nothing wrong with applying two domains fr the same school. This also shows that this school is your first priority. My son attended RI interview today, and the interviewers know that he applied two domains in RI, they asked if he receives any update from the other domain. They didn’t ask which one he prefer the most.

No Secondary school in Singapore will ever offer u 2 CO, coming from the same identical school.
At the very most,
you may get \"short-listed\" for 2 different domain, provided u are very good, in comparison to rest of the other applicants, for the same identical domain applied for. But, eventually, when come to the final CO decision, it is only ONE and only one, never two.
But, I am sure you also understand that
Being \"short-listed\" to take tests or to attend interview vs.
Being offered a CO, are entirely two different matter !
For RGS -
whoever have applied for 2 different domain, RGS will also take a look at actually, what kind of 2 different domain, have you applied for ?
1) if these two different domain are totally different .
Eg.
(Leadership And Academic Maths), Yes, indeed,
these two are really totally different domain.
So Yes,
It is possible,
you CAN be \"short-listed\" for both domain, provided on condition that RGS deem you to be both equally good, in comparison with rest of all other DSA applicants. And eventually, at the end of the day, after attending interview, RGS will still offer you only ONE CO - either Leadership or Maths.
But,
2) if you have applied for 2 different subjects but both actually fall under the same, identical single \"Academic\" domain,
say eg.
( you have applied for Maths & Science domain),
then chances are-
RGS will short-list you, for only 1 Academic subject, not both.
The one which RGS deem that you are stronger or better in, again always relative in comparison, to rest of all the other DSA applicants (peers).
Very seldom
does RGS short-list candidates for both \"Academic\" subjects, unless these students are truly outstanding -

Totally agreed. During RI DSA open house (still virtual session this year) Q & A session, the school mentioned that only one CO will be offered. Doesn’t make sense to offer two COs to the same student, these top schools like RI and RGS, never lack of applicants.
Of course not !

Example for RI, they do not even have WL for sports domain, only CO. If one never take up the CO offered, they lost one spot (which will be filled by other domain), hence they are very careful in giving out their CO spots, only to those who will take up their offer.
For academic, one will only be shortlisted for one subject and the trial tests are held during the same time. The school has been emphasizing to the parent not to waste our chances, and the school will definitely won’t want to waste their COs too…. -
Maybe times have changed, my friend’s daughter received two CO from NYGH, both academic domains. This was about 4 or 5 years ago.

We also received the same, “not been shortlisted to the next phase of your application for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Aesthetics and Mathematics)”. This is after submission of personal statement.
As a future reference for parents, here’s my son’s personal statement that didn’t get him through: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13k95HK7sUs4YWo87lEUiJCLRQtTswrbf/view?usp=drivesdk
Impressive achievemts tho, but he was doing Math in RI and NUSH right? Wish him all the best
My son is also Mensa member with 32certs of Math olym: All SIMCC comps, AMC8 Honour roll when he was in Pri6, but never got a call from nor shortlisted from any schools of his choice, he joined DSA from Sg International sch primary last 2020
I heard now int’l sch students cannot join DSA anymore…
My DD is luckier got called from all 3 or maybe just bcause she’s from local primary?
But from what I read here, shortlisted doesn’t mean anything at all 🤪😭😂 is it?
Is your son still active in Mensa Junior?
My son finished Phyton and looking for learning Java programming, but we can’t find any nearby center/tutor for him -

Possible, due to the quota limit now. However, reading thru the past years’ threads in this forum, i have yet to encounter a case where more than one CO offer to a student from the same school….
